Rupprecht & Patashnick now has a size selective inlet system
available for the TEOM
Series 7000 Source Particulate Monitor. This new inlet system
uses impaction technology to provide a particle cut size of PM-10
or PM-2.5. A simple, flexible inlet design allows for rapid configuration
and integration with the current mass transducer configuration.
By replacing the standard exchangeable inlet nozzle with the size
selective inlet assembly, the mass transducer can be quickly reconfigured
to sample for PM-10 or PM-2.5.
For measuring PM-2.5, the PM-10 and PM-2.5 impactors are installed
in series as shown in the photo below. For measuring PM-10, the
PM-2.5 impactor and inlet jet are replaced by a spacer.

After the inlet system is configured, the base of the impactor inlet
assembly is threaded into the inlet port in the top of the mass
transducer cap and the Series 7000 monitor is ready to sample for
PM-10 or PM-2.5.
