The TEOM Series 7000 Source Particulate (above) is expected
to receive imminent approval by the USEPA as a conditional
method for source particulate measurements at coal-burning
sources. R&P will conduct live demonstrations of the system
at 3:00 p.m. on 24 June, 10:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. on 25 June,
and at 9:30 a.m. on 25 June.
The TEOM Series 4200 Combustion Efficiency Monitor (right)
automatically collects and analyzes fly ash samples from coal-burning
power plants every 12 minutes. It reports the percent carbon
in fly ash using a direct, thermal CO2 method that is not
sensitive to the type of coal burned.
