R&P Exhibits at AWMA 2002, Baltimore

Rupprecht & Patashnick is exhibiting a large selection of the company's monitors and samplers for ambient air, source and diesel measurement applications at this year's AWMA exhibition. The show associated with the annual meeting of the Air & Waste Management Association is taking place from 24 to 16 June in Baltimore, Maryland. The R&P booth number is 505. The photos below show some of the products that R&P is exhibiting at the event.

The TEOM Series 1400a Ambient Particulate Monitor is shown above with a number of options, including the Automated Cartridge Collection Unit (ACCU System) at the left, and the Sample Equilibration System and Filter Dynamic Measurement System (FDMS kit) on the right.

The TEOM Series 7000 Source Particulate (above) is expected to receive imminent approval by the USEPA as a conditional method for source particulate measurements at coal-burning sources. R&P will conduct live demonstrations of the system at 3:00 p.m. on 24 June, 10:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. on 25 June, and at 9:30 a.m. on 25 June.

The TEOM Series 4200 Combustion Efficiency Monitor (right) automatically collects and analyzes fly ash samples from coal-burning power plants every 12 minutes. It reports the percent carbon in fly ash using a direct, thermal CO2 method that is not sensitive to the type of coal burned.

The Series 5400 Ambient Carbon Particulate Monitor (top) provides automated measurements of the organic and elemental carbon content of suspended particulate matter.

The Series 8400N and 8400S monitors (8400N shown at left) provide real-time measurements of the particulate nitrate and sulfate contained in fine particulate matter.

The Mini-Partisol Model 2100 Air Sampler is a battery or AC-powered device for collecting PM-2.5 or PM-20 samples in indoor and outdoor environments. The DustScan Sentinel Model 3030 Aerosol Monitor provides particulate matter trending data. The unit can run under either battery, solar or AC power.

The new Streamline Pro MultiCal unit provides a very convenient means of performing NIST-traceable measurements of flow rate, ambient temperature and pressure. An optional external probe makes it possible to audit the filter temperature in FRM-type samplers. The ChemPass Model 3400 Personal Sampler is a powerful tool for assessing the personal exposure to a variety of airborne pollutants, including PM-2.5, PM-10, carbon contained in particulate matter, particulate nitrate, and a number of gases.

The TEOM Series 1105 Diesel Particulate Monitor provides real-time mass concentration measurements of diluted diesel exhaust. It is now shipping with a Windows interface that provides user flexibility in setting up the instrument and viewing experimental results.
