A newly-published study by the Harvard School of Public Health and
other major institutions points to a relationship between short-term
particulate matter concentrations and the triggering of myocardial
infarction. The study was conducted in the greater Boston area between
January 1995 and May 1996, and was published in Circulation,
a publication of the American Heart Association.
The hourly PM-2.5 and PM-10 measurements used in the study were
generated by the TEOM Series 1400a Ambient Particulate Monitor manufactured
by R&P. Click here

values generated by the TEOM monitor.
