Airborne Chemical, Biological and Radiological Threats

Five market-leading, environmental services companies are working in partnership to meet heightened security monitoring needs for airborne chemical, biological, and radiological agents (CBR) in the United States. The broad offering includes a field deployable package that monitors for potentially threatening agents and provides expert professional services for consequence planning and management. The program supports all phases of planning, preparedness and response to potential threats with a unique combination of CBR analysis, engineering, deployment, operations and monitoring capabilities.

The group consists of ARCADIS of Denver, Colorado, ManTech Environmental Technology, Inc. of Durham, North Carolina, Rupprecht & Patashnick Co., Inc. (R&P) of Albany, New York, Severn Trent Laboratories Inc. (STL) of Ft. Washington, Pennsylvania and Unisearch Associates Inc. of Toronto, Canada. With combined annual revenues of over $1.5 billion, the group has more than 120 years of experience in environmental services. Each company has recently participated in homeland security activities in mitigation of terrorist threats, including participation in agent monitoring activities at the Salt Lake City Winter Olympics, September 11th WTC site, U.S. Postal Service facilities, and strategic government locations.
