Rupprecht & Patashnick Co., Inc. (R&P) is currently constructing
a new facility in the East Greenbush Technology Park located in
East Greenbush, New York. The new facility is located just east
of Albany, approximately 15 miles east of our current Albany locations.
An artist's rendition is shown above.
The expansion into the new building is necessary to support our
current and future commercial manufacturing and research & development
activities. The company has experienced significant growth since
its incorporation in 1981, and anticipates further opportunities
to serve our customers in the coming years. The new facility will
allow R&P to expand our high level of quality and service to
our customers, with room to grow in the coming years.
The firm's activities are currently spread across three facilities
in the Albany area, a situation that arose after the company outgrew
its main office in western Albany a few years ago. Moving to the
new location will provide an efficient operating environment for
our staff of over 100 employees. The new building, constructed to
meet our specific business needs, will contain a large seminar room
for conducting customer training, enlarged service and quality assurance
areas, and a manufacturing facility designed to accommodate future
growth.
The photograph below shows R&P's new facility under construction
as of late November 2003. R&P will initially occupy 50,000 square
feet (approximately 5,000 square meters) of the 75,000 square foot
capacity of the new building. The site is located just east of Albany
and the Hudson River in Rensselaer County, in a growing sector of
New York's Capital Region. The East Greenbush Technology Park is
being developed as the high-tech park of the future with state-of-the-art
services to meet the needs of innovative companies such as R&P.
Construction began with site preparation in May and the pouring
of the foundation in July 2003. R&P expects to move into the
new location in March 2004.
The photos below show the new building in various stages of completion.
