The Streamline
Pro MultiCal System provides a powerful set of audit/calibration
capabilities for operators of ambient air quality monitors and samplers.
It is designed to play a key role in assuring the quality of measurements
from gas and particulate matter (PM) instrumentation. The unit combines
NIST-traceable measurements of flow rate (0.9 to 19 l/min),
ambient temperature (-25 to +40 degrees C), ambient barometric
pressure (0.65 to 1.1 Atmospheres) and optional filter temperature
using an external probe (-25 to +40 degrees C).
The device is handheld, battery-operated, and displays its quality
assurance measurements simultaneously on its multi-line display.
Internal data storage permits the recall of time-stamped quality
assurance data, which can also be downloaded to a personal computer
using an optional connection kit.
The system's flow rate measurement is based upon the orifice-based
technology used in the very popular Streamline
FTS Flow Transfer Standard introduced by Rupprecht & Patashnick
(R&P) in 1997. Both of the Streamline systems are manufactured
and calibrated for R&P on an exclusive basis by Chinook Engineering
LLC of Sheridan, Wyoming, which also provides post-sale calibration
services.
